Objective of Design

When we engaged with the founders of L&T Sufin, they were determined to enhance the entire B2B marketplace experience. Their goal was to elevate user satisfaction by addressing the minimal interaction users had with their application, which was causing dissatisfaction in the process.

Consequently, the challenge at hand revolved around:

  • Streamlining the procurement process for buyers and simplifying inventory management for sellers.
  • Establishing a scalable design system that could be applied uniformly across all products and categories.
  • Implementing a drag-and-drop feature for visual elements on pages, a move that not only saved valuable time and effort for developers but also contributed to substantial cost reductions.

Team Monsoonfish approached the redesign for creating a smooth ordering process that functions effectively for both buyers and sellers. We tailored the experience to individual users based on their profiles, eliminating the need for repetitive logins, while also integrating push notifications for order tracking, RFQs, quotations, payments, etc. to enhance user engagement. Our design strategy was aimed at enhancing the customer experience by providing convenient access to support within the app at all times by implementing coach screens to inform users about new features.

  • The redesigned interface for the Buyer App includes a brand new buyer’s interface that boasts a personalized home page allowing users to seamlessly pick up from where they left off during their last visit.
  • The card-based design simplifies and organizes information for easy navigation, while user guidance encourages the utilization of various app features. The efficient deep search feature ensures hassle-free exploration, and our RFQ process is streamlined for quick and easy quote comparisons.
  • With a balanced mix of exploration and search capabilities accessible with a single tap, the app offers users a comprehensive and user-friendly experience.
  • Similarly, on the other hand, the Seller App helps in effortlessly managing catalogs across multiple SKUs on mobile devices, request quotes through a user-friendly form, update order statuses with a single click, and easily upload documents such as invoices and e-way bills using your mobile camera.
  • Also, sellers can stay informed about their sales and payments with a convenient mobile sales dashboard.
